PACE Program General Requirements

  • Current enrollment in or recent graduate of an accredited 
    college / program with an IT-related major
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to interact with diverse personalities throughout all levels of an organization
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform complete installation, including setup and configuration, of new workstations
  • Migrate client systems and end user data from Windows 7 to Windows 10
  • Follow up with end users to ensure new workstations operate as required
  • Resolve workstation integration and networking issues at the hardware, software, and operating system levels

Key Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows 7 and 10 and the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Have knowledge of system operations and network configuration
  • Physical ability to lift and move workstation equipment (25lbs)
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies
